After the release of iOS 10, it became necessary for Mac users to upgrade to OS Sierra as without it the Notes app would not sync. Now the best thing about using Apple devices together is that everything gets synced like images, videos, audios, contacts and even notes. So many people use the Notes app of iOS for noting down things or keeping their to-do lists etc.

If for some reason your Notes app has stopped syncing after the upgrade to Sierra on MacBook Pro there is a very simple solution.

What happens is that any changes you make to a note on your MacBook do not get synced with other Apple devices like iPhone or iPad. However, changes made on the other devices do appear in the notes on Mac.
